Who We Are

Ave Maria Children’s Home is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children across Uganda. Based in Bweyale Town Council, Kiryandongo District, we provide a safe, loving, and structured environment for children who are orphaned, abandoned, neglected, or living in difficult circumstances.

Our home is more than just a place of shelter—it is a place of healing, growth, and hope. We focus on nurturing every child holistically by meeting their physical, emotional, social, educational, and spiritual needs. Through dedicated care and support, we aim to restore dignity and give each child the opportunity to build a meaningful and independent future.
